Asset management

For any part of our bill validation portfolio, we need to know detailed utility information in order to ensure that we offer a superior service. Some information you will already have to hand, some we may need to find out on your behalf. Using this information, we create a comprehensive portfolio of your entire company’s estate and utility footprint.

We also have a field force to visit sites and ensure that all is as it should be. All findings are reported back using supporting digital photography where necessary.

A basic desktop asset management report is compiled as standard by UPL before we proceed with any bill investigation services. This forms the basis of our analysis, but for larger multi-site clients we will develop a full utility asset management register.

Details can include:

• Serial numbers of all meters in service (including MPAN) for electricity, gas and water
• Sub meter register and location
• Site address and up-to-date contact numbers and representatives
• Site or building opening (and closing) dates
• Floor area(s)
• Utility suppliers
