Powerful energy management

EnergyLivePro is UPL’s sophisticated web-enabled energy management package. This powerful system provides in-depth analysis and reporting facilities for all of your energy and utility data.

EnergyLivePro can accommodate any number of gas, electricity and water meter points. Input of meter readings and data to the system is fully flexible and ranges from automatic (e.g. from smart meters) through upload from tables or spreadsheets to manual entry where required. Utility tariff data can also be input into EnergyLivePro, enabling accurate costs to be reported quickly and easily.

Clearly presented and easy to use, EnergyLivePro can be accessed directly from any computer. Information is held in secure, blue-chip data centres with active back-up and redundancy to maintain maximum reliability.

The key advantage of EnergyLivePro is the robust reporting engine, which allows you to choose not only how you want your energy information to be displayed but also the level of analysis you require.

Data can be displayed in straightforward daily, weekly or monthly profile graphs, and sites can be compared by simply ‘dragging and dropping’ additional sites onto graphs. Data can be grouped so that aggregated reports can be produced for areas, regions, business types or all sites. The secure access logons can be set up so that client staff can see appropriate information – store managers, for example, can see their own sites, regional managers all sites within their region, etc.

For geographically spread portfolios, sites can be represented on a map with links directly to site data for easy access.

Analysis

When it comes to analysing your energy and utility usage, EnegyLivePro will provide you with invaluable information relevant to your organisation. As well as being able to directly compare sites, performance comparisons can be measured against key data ranging from weather correction (using degree day data) to specific benchmarks such as floor area, manufacturing output, opening hours – anything, in fact, which you can measure and provide data on.

Action

To ensure that you are able to concentrate on your core business, EnergyLivePro also provides automatic notices and warnings based on defined parameters and limits. These exception reports can trigger emails so that you can investigate potential issues as soon as they are flagged up.

Environmental impact

All of the information which we collate into EnergyLivePro can produce carbon figures against your energy usage. This data will enable you to set targets for reduction and then accurately report your progress to employees and clients.

Financial control

EnergyLivePro can track energy and utility expenditure against set budgets and produce forecast reports to enable you to plan ahead.

Tenant invoicing can also be controlled easily using EnergyLivePro. UPL can collect readings from main meters as well as individual tenant sub meters, and invoice each separate party accordingly. Any irregularities can easily be identified and, if required, UPL can investigate and rectify abnormalities.
