Fully accredited by ELEXON to provide meter operator services (MOP), we can guarantee our meter delivery and connection service. We are also fully accredited to provide non half-hourly data collection and aggregation (NHHDC/DA) which provides full transparency of service to our clients.

With over 35,000 meters installed to date, UPL’s guaranteed metering service delivers timely connection with minimum disruption to your business. Our qualified meter installers are regionally based and managed remotely using sophisticated in-house software which communicates with each installer though hand-held PDAs. This give us a huge time-saving advantage and automatically updates our metering database which holds all of the asset information in both data and image form for additional peace of mind. Information also feeds automatically into our scheduling software to ensures that all of our resources are being used to the maximum of efficiency at all times.

Our robust database and software systems ensure security and accuracy of your data. As soon as a meter is activated and receiving flows, we collect and store your data ready for transferral. Our DC/DA capabilities also mean that we can instantly send the data to your energy supplier eliminating the need for estimated billing.
